100 per cent. I said this from the start. The country is in the grip of a tyrant. It almost seems to be operating as some sort of Vichy regime. Most of the transgressions seemed worthy of little more than a fine, if that, apart from a handful who got carried away and started chucking objects etc.

How have we descended into this farce?

Political prisoners are Labours way of silencing their critics. It has become the ‘norm’ under Starmer, or should that be Stalin? We are slowly and inexorably moving to a Communist state, which explains why Starmer was cozying up to Xi of China.

And Xi will be laughing his socks off at the emptiness of him. But he’ll be looking forward to Reeves visiting next year when what will happen is Xi’s money man will run rings round her, all the while with a smile to hide his disdain of her inadequacy.

This is horrific and unjust. Can someone start a petition to campaign to get her out of prison?

Why is it that it is the easy targets - a white lady, wife of a Tory councillor ?whoever started this prosecution must have been rubbing their hands in glee! Yet so very many people express similar nasty views across social media without fear because they are the 'correct' people. The judge too should be thoroughly ashamed. Had they never heard of mitigating factors? I have never been worried about living in this country but, with Labour, it has taken a nasty turn - much worse than the Tories, I'm afraid.

My feelings entirely. I don't feel safe in this country. Never thought it would be like this in my England. It's fast approaching being like East Germany.

She has form of saying the wrong thing. Last Christmas she took a picture of an elderly couple having a sit down meal at the pub where she was visiting and ridiculed them to all of her many followers on Twitter. Their crime? They both had masks on which seemed to annoy her. I didn’t like that she took their picture and invaded their privacy in that way. I don’t like masks but it’s their prerogative to wear one, we didn’t know their personal circumstance. But no, I don’t think a prison sentence for saying the wrong thing is acceptable, it’s truly ridiculous when proper criminals go unpunished.

There is a petition (not that they do any good) to call a new election over Starmers lies.

Maybe if it reached 10 million before we all get arrested?

Look at the longest serving political prisoner in this country - Jeremy Bamber, who has been in prison for almost 40 years. Why is he a political prisoner? Because the police corruption and cover-up in his case has gone on so long that it is going to not only be a damning indictment of the justice system but also damning to the politicians who have perpetuated the narrative around his guilt. Look at the DPP who refused disclosure of hidden evidence on his case back in the 2000's. What happened to him? Oh he's the Prime Minister now.

Outrageous. We need a civil revolution! All the guilty politicians, those that run the msm, the banking that keeps us as slaves, all mass immigration, all the degenerate gender ideology in our schools, oh and let’s not forget Covid . If you know who I’m talking about then they need to be expelled from our country.

Starmer admits it is being done to deter others. This is oppression, not Justice, and is a misuse of our criminal justice system for political purposes. Why doesn’t the King step in? He is not actually legally bound to not interfere. It is only a tacit agreement. After all, we are his “subjects” not “citizens” and we do not have our own Rights enshrined in a Written Constitution. Thus we depend on him to ensure HIS government behaves properly.

Why wouldn’t she have got bail? My understanding was there is always a presumption in favour of bail and exceptions are things like risk of absconding etc?

Modern police and judiciary are as much to blame for this Kafkaesque application of "the law".

The highest court in the land should have a dedicated judge to quickly look at these ridiculous sentences and quash them instantly, then publicly call out the government and police for being tyrants.

Listening to this interview I was seething at the injustice of jailing this poor woman for a tweet. She clearly wasn’t inciting hate. Do the public not already hate anyone who massacres innocent children? As for Starmer, the public’s loathing for this dictator knows no bounds.
