Ben Habib has lost the plot again - the English have been a distinct ethnic group for over a thousand years. Nana Akua is NOT English, Shabana Mahmood is NOT English, Ian Wright is NOT English etc - they have British passports but they will never be English. His silly argument about the King being half German is pathetic and does not negate the fact that the English people themselves are a distinct ethnic group anymore than having a half German ceo of an English company would negate that fact.

I agree with Rupert Lowe's point that it is very difficult to put terms like ethnicity into neat little boxes. Ultimately, all the back-and-forth amongst the party leaders and supporters will be for naught. Should one of these parties wield executive power in the future, carrying out the goals of stabilizing the UK will be very difficult and will have many obstacles thrown in its way. The focus will be on the worst amongst the population with virtually no chance of upstanding citizens of varied backgrounds affected.

So by this logic, http://Ancestry.com is a big fraud.

Hi Dan, can I ask you why you chose to play the leaked audio and not also the reel of X posts showing some of the vile, and yes, outright racist abuse, directed specifically at Ben, that’s been doing the rounds for the last couple of days? Ben is the last person who’s going to complain about personal attacks or come across like he’s playing the victim himself, but it would have certainly added more context to the whole situation. Just in case you haven’t seen it yet, Don Keith posted it on X & Paul Thorpe showed it on Thursday nights show. If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you go find it.

Yes, I know this didn’t come from Rupert or any of the people closest to Rupert in Restore, but surely Rupert must realise that the mud will stick unless he calls it out & states clearly that such extreme racist views are neither aligned in Restore’s values nor will they be tolerated. The longer he appeases the extreme element that have been drawn to Restore by not stating clearly that those views are not welcome, the more of that particular shit is going to stick to Restore! It will leave a stain & stink that will never wash out if left for much longer.

As for what Ben was saying tonight, I can’t understand why so many people seem not to get it. I had been saying similar for a couple of days before Ben raised it, ie that ANY political leader who hopes to become Prime Minister of the UK, can not & must not place any more emphasis on one the home nations above the other 3. To do so, & in fact to entertain the insane debate about English nationalism, will only pour fuel on a fire we shouldn’t even be thinking about fighting - the fire that would see our UNITED Kingdom become further divided across each of the 4 home nations. When Ben put out a video saying pretty much the exact same thing I’d been saying for a couple of days (only far more expertly & eloquently), it only consolidated what I already knew- Advance UK is the only party that is perfectly aligned with my own political views as well as my own personal values.

The most important thing at the moment is for us to focus on getting a pro-British party into power, & then to start implementing the necessary measures to get this country back on her feet. Something else I absolutely agree with Ben on is that we need to re-establish a settled culture in this country as a priority!

You know, it’s actually only just occurred to me as I type this, that so many people in this country don’t even know what it’s like to live in a country where everyone knows our history (not the rewritten version); is proud of that history; is proud of who we are as a nation; or, can even remember a time before the multicultural experiment (that was always doomed to fail). At 51, I feel fortunate that I grew up well before Blair, & saddened at how much the generations after me have had stolen from them.

We really don’t have time for ANY distractions, & the ethno/civic nationalism debate is proving to be just that. I’m not saying it’s irrelevant or even unimportant, just that now is really not the time for it. Most of us on the right of politics agree with at least 90% of the issues. We all agree that the socialist-communist-Islamist alliance is a huge threat that we MUST destroy - & the first step is at the ballot box. One of the biggest obstacles in our way is apathy, with increasing numbers of people not voting at all. How the hell are we supposed to convince those people to get off their arses to vote & to re-engage in the democratic process with all of the in-fighting on the political right?

Calmer heads must prevail, or we’re all screwed.
