….has shown the true colours of Farage, Yousaf & co. Someone once said: “If you want to find out a man’s character, give him some power and see what he does with it” (Abraham Lincoln: I think)

Nigel has been given power and never seems to manage it well. As an MEP he was absent from many of the Committees he was on. I’m told he never appeared on the Fisheries one he was meant to be sitting on once.

He is not managing his constituency well, constant absences. He has not been consistent about dealing with the migrant problem and has done a U-turn with no reference to his voters.

Two things are abhorrent, Firstly that Yusaf reported Rupert to the police, no doubt using the race card, and secondly the heavy handed, bullying tactics of the police.....at who's behest I wonder ?

I no longer trust Reform when they can do that to one of their own.

Incidentally Dan, GBN didn't report when you were cleared either, not a flippin murmur from them :(

Absolutely appalling. I am a Reform party member but not sure for how long, to be honest because of the way the party is run. To treat a fellow party MP like this is a disgrace and tells me just what they would do to anyone else that upsets, or says the wrong thing, in their eyes. How can Farage or Yusaf hold their heads up I do not know. To call the police on them is preposterous, and wastes the police time. Who is paying for the gates the police drove through and surely Rupert has some way of claiming compensation and bringing a complaint against his accusers? To even say he is going senile is an abuse to ruin his career. What else are they capable of?

How do you know how it’s run all your hearing is mainstream and government clap trap all done to damage reform if your giving up that easy your either not interested in any change or your a labour voter in disguise just gaslighting everyone

I don’t listen to MSM clap trap as you put it and certainly not the government. I wouldn’t believe anything they say. I’m not giving up. I just don’t like Farages tactics. He has got rid of so many people that have overshadowed him in the past so I wouldn’t trust him.

Reform is not run like a normal political party. Yusuf is the chairman, but the members do not have the same privileges as other political parties. If you really care to know more you should read up on it.

A grave injustice and the silence of a non apology from Yusef is DEAFENING. How very GRACELESS they are!

Rupert is the " Revolutionery Firebrand" that a letter to the editor on The Conservative Woman called for.

Reform do not have fire that Rupert and Ben have . Roll on the new party.

while this is all outrageous, this kind of useless backbiting will be the UK's undoing. It's either reform or more of labour. That is the choice I'm afraid and with birthrates as they are, there's only one election left. Look at the big picture folks. Do not get caught up in this.

This seems very weird and I don’t think this would be anything that Reform instigated this sounds more like starmers crew trying to split the reform vote seems to have come to light at a strange moment the police are controlled from inside starmers army

Pamela Wilson's avatar

No it was Farage and Starmer that did it and they withdrew the whip from him also

Expand full comment
David M's avatar

Yes they did but they didn’t tell the police to raid Lowe that came from starmers crew this is all gas lighting by the media and starmers army of trained idiots

They knew he would have guns because he is a farmer with all the relevant permits so it all so devious.

David M's avatar

How do you know he had permits according to some sources he hadn’t any permits that why the police called don’t forget he’s also a target for the left labour as he what’s to stop the same as reform so it probably got nothing to do with Farage etc.

I see the Starmer and Farage both have rich Alan's Snackbar club benefactors.... I wonder when that particular fact will be pulled out of the hat, by the Tories? 🤔

Dan, so the Armed Police Raid on Ruperts home "smashing thru his gates" was denied by Rupert himself on your show. He admits to having multiple armed weapons, which he showed, not certified nor licensed, and not stored in a secure Gun Room as per legal requirements. Police had no option but to pay him a visit. What's that got to do with Nigel Farage?!

The problem being do we really know the facts, the story sounds very vindictive if true, but i also know how much the left want to muddy Reforms waters. What I do know is that the whole episode is a great shame.

Donna's avatar

It is true. This is not coming from the left. It’s coming from Rupert Lowe’s own mouth. The facts speak for themselves. The police were used as a weapon to silence him. He was never charged. That in itself speaks volumes and adds credibility to Rupert’s version.

What a tragedy then for the party to stab themselves over what sounds like pointless jealousy over a comment.

That’s exactly what it was, I’m afraid. It’s left many Reform members reeling. If Farage and Yusuf can do that to one of their own, what else are they capable of? They have instilled doubt in so many of us. What we fear from Starmer’s govt the most is the criminalisation of free speech, and Farage just gave us a flavour of it.

I agree that Reform voters are there because there is, right now, nothing else to vote for. Thousands will move to support a party led by Rupert and Ben and, if they stick to transparency, truth, honesty, courage and the policies the people really want it will be a huge success! Many of the people who are roundly chastising those of us who refuse to ignore the Farage/Yusuf dishonesty will eventually have to admit they got it wrong. We know who they are and are watching and listening. Well done, Dan, for following the path of truth and courage, you're much appreciated.

And thereby split the vote of the only realistic hope of challenging Liebour and the Con Uni-Party. This has too much the feel of an Establishment conspiracy. Only worry is why REFORM have been so silent on this. Which is the real Trojan Horse, Farage or Lowe? There's very dirty politics at play.

So pleased for Rupert and wish him well. Reform let me down but people are desperate for something other than the uniparty so they will still do well, just not very honourable.

I’m sick to death with the lot of it!! Dirty underhand tricks and by the people who could possibly win the next election. But there’s 4 more years yet and my vote would go to Rupert & Ben. It could happen!

Like most things in life, there are two sides to every thing, and we have only here'd Rupert Lowes side. Politics is not a very nice place at the best of times, but it is what it is.

At the moment Reform UK is miles in front of every other party , this of coarse could change , during the next 4 years, but at the moment my money is on Nigel Farage leading Reform in the next election. Like it or not Reform UK are the only party to sort this country out. We need to get Labour out ASAP.

The only person & party that can save this country is Nigel Farage & reform & if you & Rupert what’s his name can’t see that then you must be supporting the status quo because the only way out of this is a reform win

There comes a time when one's instinct becomes so strong that it is difficult, indeed unwise, to ignore.

I trust Rupert Lowe and Ben Habib without reservation. I cannot say the same about Nigel Farage. It's so regrettable because he was whom I had looked to during the darkest days a decade or so ago.

Revealingly, many of the prominent Farage inner circle offer him support without overt criticism. That bodes ill for the future, for democracy itself.

One thing Lowe is nt is a “ superstar “ . He thought he was a shoe in to take over reform , because of a chance tweet by Musk . It went to his head and he went running off to Tory boy Pierce to try to put the boot into Farage and Reform voters . Just because the crown prosecutor is not taking the matter further, doesn’t mean he’s innocent, he had to be pulled off a Labour mp in parliament, just because he did nt think the mp answered him properly! He ll end up in the Tory party when the dust settles.

lol! He’s farmed all his life, they’ll be what used over 60 years, probably most broken and unusable so why no permits. Farmers always have guns: for rabbits, dogs savaging stock, as did 2 spaniels in News today killed a lamb, the farmer has the right to shoot such dogs on the spot, crows are another that go for eyes of sheep and lambs.
